London, UK - February 26, 2010 – Altien today announces that Craig Kayes has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Kayes has been Director of Client Services at Altien for the last five years. Jason Hirst is resigning as CEO in order to pursue a new venture. The changes are effective today.

Commenting on the changes, Allen Morgan, Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Altien, said: “Jason joined me at Altien back when it was a small consultancy helping a few local FileNet customers with custom development projects. Over the past seven years we have grown to become an established enterprise software company with major customers in Europe, North America and Asia. Jason drove the transformation and growth of the business and allowed me to concentrate on delivering the technology. I want to thank Jason for all his efforts and wish him the best of luck in his new venture.”

Mr. Morgan continued, “Craig joined Altien in 2005 and has been a vital member of the management team ever since. Throughout this time, he has provided commitment and leadership to the support and services team members whilst ensuring we deliver high quality service for our customers. He and I are both very excited by this new phase in Altien’s development and I have every confidence in his ability to lead the company through this next chapter of its story.”

Mr. Kayes has more than twenty years of experience in the IT industry, most of which he spent in a variety of IT consulting and management roles across Retail, Manufacturing and Banking industries. Prior to joining Altien he was a member of the senior management team of an international retail company. As Director of Client Services at Altien he has been responsible for managing both the professional services and technical support teams and maintaining relationships with Altien’s customers worldwide. In addition, he has been a member of the board of directors since 2008.
